Delta Center's History

Delta Center is a consumer-controlled, not-for-profit agency that provides non-residential, community-based services for persons with all types of disabilities residing in the Missouri counties of St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren.

Delta Center was formed in 1997 by a group of local citizens with disabilities and other persons concerned about disability issues.

Funding is provided by the State of Missouri and private contributions. All donations to Delta Center are tax deductible.

What is independent living?

For consumers at Delta Center, independent living means self-determination — making your own decisions, choosing your course of action, and being as self-sufficient as possible.
